ONSITE VOLUNTEERING
Non-artists with interest in the arts can volunteer at our arts village or in nearby communities. Individual or team volunteers are all welcome. You can volunteer or intern at our Arts Village site to help with our vocational training initiative, or on a construction project. In nearby communities, you can volunteer in a local school, village centre, or work with community groups on your project or a humanitarian activity of the aim of building cultural bridges between Africa and the rest of the world. Typically, volunteers work and share the same house with other participants. The sharing of everyday life, with the local community and the international participants, is a valuable process of gaining cross-cultural awareness, and of becoming a global citizen. Volunteer pays $180 / €142 / £124 per month for accommodation. Food is by self-catering or cooperative kitchen with others. The international volunteers are responsible for own return air ticket, and other personal costs. If proposing / initiating a project, you will have to raise the funds for that.

If you are unable to come in person and have fundraising skills / experience, you can pitch in as Online volunteer. You will help us to spread word of our project to philanthropies, your local media / online forums, schools, churches, businesses, and others as to support our project.
